Characteristic Features of St Bede’s School:
St Bede's is a great place to work. Our community is vibrant - we focus on teaching, learning and caring for individuals. The community of staff is very strong, supportive and welcoming. Our students like the school and want to learn - they are almost always keen and co-operative and value staff and the school. The school has something for everyone and offers huge opportunities for adults, as well as students, to learn and grow.

The success of our pupils in public exams places us in the top 100 non selective schools in the country. This is achieved by a winning combination of hard working pupils, committed staff and supportive parents. However, we believe that a well-rounded education is about more than just exams. We offer a wide range of extra opportunities and activities to extend teaching beyond the classroom, while providing enjoyment and developing practical life skills.
